Spanish handcuffs

I’ve just got a new handcuffs from amazon and I thought I could share a few tips on choosing metal handcuffs in online stores.

  1. Shop at a bigger store, small ones usually don’t have a sufficient choice, I suggest amazon as a good trusted vendor.
  2. Don’t buy the cheapest cuffs, they are usually as crappy as they are cheap and I bet my head you don’t want yourself or your partner to get stuck in an uncomfortable position waiting for a locksmith.
  3. Get an extra key. Most of handcuffs come with 2 keys, but in this case some paranoia is OK, see #2.
  4. Check if the handcuffs have the double locking system that blocks the mechanism from locking tighter than they are locked by you. For example Smith & Wesson Handcuffs have it, you can see two openings on handcuff, one for the key, to unlock them and one to lock the handcuffs from further locking.
  5. If you plan to try the handcuffs alone choose the ones with flexible connection like S&W and save the ASP Handcuffs for playing with your partner. It will be much harder to unlock them alone.

Good luck and have fun!
